Opinions expressed by the incoming Fed chief and possible consequenses

Kevin Warsh is proposed as the new head of the central bank. He has a previous history as a member of the board from 2006 to 2011, after which Warsh resigned from the bank's board of directors, at least in part, in protest against the Fed's decision to continue QE activities after the acute phase of the financial crisis was over. Warsh has since been, at least in recent years, a rather vocal critic of the Fed.
